Mga Batayang Filipino Sign para sa DRR

Mahalagang makasama ang mga sektor sa paghahanda sa anumang sakuna gaya ng lindol, pagbaha at iba.

Ngayon Ikalawang 2019 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (2nd Quarter), ibinahagi ng Deaf Disaster Assistance Team - DRR Manila Chapter ang ilang Filipino Signs na magagamit sa paghahanda sa mga kababayang Bingi sa kalamidad.

Nasa Ingles man ang mga termino, Filipino Sign Language (FSL) naman ang sign language na ginamit ni Mr. Ferdinand Vizmanos para maipaunawa sa mga kababayan, bingi man o hindi, ang mga pangkaraniwang kataga sa disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM).

Maraming salamat din kay Ms. Joi Villareal ng Philippine National Association of Sign Language Interpreters na siyang nagpa-facilitate ng video sa akin.

DAR-Mimaropa launches CLAAP for Tablas Island today

DAR Mimaropa Regional Director Eugene Follante says the Department is strengthening ARBs through training and provision of machineries. 

The Department of Agrarian Reform will launch this afternoon CLAAP (Convergenge on Livelihood Assistance for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Project) for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Tablas Island.

The project is set to benefit 283 ARBs in 13 ARB Organizations (ARBOs) in the towns of Odiongan, San Agustin, San Andres, Ferrol, Sta. Fe, Alcantara, Looc and Santa Maria.

The Launching will be held at the Odiongan Covered Court, Odiongan, Romblon at 2 pm.

Under CLAAP, a project both supported and funded by DAR and the Department of Social Welfare and Development, ARBs will be provide with technical assistance in the form of training, coaching and mentoring on enterprise operation and management, enterprise-based organizing as well as capital seed funds for the establishment or expansion of  livelihood projects and microenterprises.

The ultimate goal of CLAAP is to improve house hold incomes of poor or near poor ARBs by 15 percent in 5 years after the completion of the project.

Joining the launching are DAR Undersecretary Karl S. Bello and DAR Mimaropa Regional Director Eugene P. Follante.#

Ayuda sa ARBs: Ipinapaliwanag ni DAR Mimaropa Regional Director Eugene Follante na papalakasin nila ang mga bagong ARB sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng  makinarya at mga pagsasanay sa kanila

Ilulunsad mamayang ika-2 ng hapon ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) – Mimaropa ang Convergence on Livelihood Assistance for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Project  o CLAAP para sa Tablas Island.

Kasabay sa paglulunsad ng CLAAP mamaya sa Odiongan Covered Court, Odiongan, Romblon ang paglagda sa isang memorandum of agreement.

Tulad ng DAR, suportado at pinupondohan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang CLAAP na isang programang para sa mga benipisyaryo ng Agrarian Reform (Agrarian Reform Beneficiary o ARB).

Ilan sa mga serbisyong mapapakinabangan ng mga ARB sa CLAAP ay ang pagkakaroon ng mga technical assistance gaya ng mga pagsasanay, paggabay o coaching at mentoring sa pangangasiwa ng isang samahan at paggawad ng mga kapital para suportahan ang mga pagpapatakbo at pagpapalawak ng operasyon ng  samahan.

Pangunahing layunin ng CLAAP ay mapataas ang kita ng mga maralitang ARB nang hanggang 15 porsiyento sa loob ng limang taon pagkatapos ng proyekto.

Sa ilalim ng CLAAP, may 283 ARBs sa Tablas Island ang inaasahang makikinabang.

Masasaklaw  ng CLAAP ang may 13 ARBO (ARB Organizations) sa mga bayan ng Odiongan, San Agustin, San Andres, Ferrol, Sta. Fe, Alcantara, Looc at Santa Maria.
