The image's bright red color is the area and path where Chedeng's maximum sustained winds are concentrated. Pagasa's 11 pm Maunday Thursday forecast say Chedeng packs a sustained maximum winds of 165 kph near the center with gustiness up to 200 kph. The "hotdog" rams the Isabela and Aurora area where the typhoon is expected to make landfall by Sunday night. It also shows north and south sides of the typhoon or other provinces which can be affected by the passage of Chedeng apart from the Isabela - Aurora area. Chedeng has a diameter of 500 kilometers: moderate to heavy rainfall will be experienced within the 150 to 200 kilometer radius from the eye of the typhoon. This photograph was taken on Thursday during the presentation of the Weather Outlook for Typhoon Chedeng by Pagasa at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Operation Center.
