Pasok sa gobyerno, eskwela sa NCR, Mimaropa at Calabarzon, suspindido dahil kay Ruby

Suspindido ang pasok sa tanggapan ng pamahalaan at sa mga paaralan sa National Capital Region, Calabarzon at Mimaropa ngayong araw na ito, Lunes, ika-8 ng Disyembre.

Kaugnay ito sa pagdating ng Bagyong Ruby sa tatlong rehiyon ngayong maghapon at mamayang gabi.

Kagabi, itinaas ng Pagasa-DOST sa Public Storm Warning Signal No. 3 ang Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro kasama ang Lubang Island, Romblon, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite at Katimugan Quezon.

Public Storm Warning Signal No. 2 naman sa Calamian Group of Island, Rizal, ang lalabing bahagi ng Quezon at Metro Manila.

Public Storm Warning Signla No. 1 naman ang umiiral sa Hilagang Palawan kasama ang Cuyo Island.

Sa isang panayam, ipinaliwanag ni Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte na kinansela ni Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr. ang pasok sa lahat ng government office sa Region IV-(Calabarzon), Region IV-B (Mimaropa) at NCR (Metro Manila) maliban sa mga kawani na kasama sa 'basic and health services, disaster response, and other vital public services.'

Kasama rin sa suspensyon, ani Usec Valte, ang pasok sa mga eskwelahan sa lahat ng level.

Umapila rin si Usec. Valte sa pribadong sektor na ikunsidera ang magiging lagay ng panahon ngayong araw ito at sundan ang hakbang ng pamahalaan para sa kapakanan at kaligtasan ng kanilang empleyado. (LP)



Palace suspends work in gov't, classes in NCR, Mimaropa and Calabarzon

Malacanang on Monday suspended work in all government offices in Metro Manila (NCR or National Capital Region), Calabarzon (Region IV-A) and Mimaropa (Region IV-B) due to the impending passage of Typhoon Ruby in these areas tonight.

Also suspended today, December 8, are classes in all levels in the same regions, according to Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte based on an action made by Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa.

But Usec. Valte clarified that the suspension does not cover those who are involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster response and other vital public services.

Pagasa-DOST on Sunday night raised Public Storm Warning Signal No. 1 over Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island, Romblon, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite and Southern Quezon.

Public Storm Warning Signal No. 2 is in effect over Calamian Group of Islands, Rizal, the rest of Quezon and Metro Manila.

Only Northern Palawan including Cuyo island remained under Public Storm Signal No.1.

Usec Valte likewise urged private sector in the three regions to consider the forecasted weather conditions in favor of the welfare and safety of their employees. (LP)
