QUEZON CITY, December 19 (PIA) ---Pagasa-DOST
said the western seaboard of Southern Luzon, particularly in Occidental Mindoro
and Palawan, will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated
thunderstorms.
The wind force will be between
51-63 kph and the waves in the area will be rough to very rough.
The strong to gale force wind is
associated with the surge of Northeast monsoon.
Under these conditions, the height
of waves will be between 3.4 to 4.5 meters.
Pagasa-DOST alerted large sea
vessels of the big waves while fishermen in boats and smaller sea-crafts are
advised to avoid the sea today.
Meanwhile, Oriental Mindoro,
Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains.
Moderate to strong winds will
prevail over these provinces and their coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
