Weather Specialist Obet Badrina said Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Bataan, Zambales and Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains.

Other parts of Luzon, including the Visayas and Mindanao may have sunny skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Badrina likewise urged fisherfolks and operators of small sea vessels to avoid venturing into the coasts of Batanes, Calayan, Babuyan group of Islands, the northern coast of  Cagayan, Ilocos provinces, La Union and Pangasinan.

Gale warning is in effect over these coasts where waves may reach between 2.8 to 4.5 meters high still brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.
